“There’s not a minute that I doesn’t remember the loss of my spaceship! Thanks for the offer to stay, Saph, I guess you’re a bit lonely these days and could use some good old-fashioned entertainment?”
Rubeus laughed and patted Saphir’s back, ruffling the hair on the back of Saphir’s head a tiny, but noticeable bit when he drew back his hand.
“But you said you already have a Lady staying, so maybe you’re not that lonely. Who did you say she was, Endymion’s….”
He stopped and stared at Saphir. “Could you run that one by me again, please? I think I just heard you say you fancy the little pink pebble of a Rabbit? Have you lost your damn mind, man?”
Having Rubeus stay with him would indeed be different. Their personalities were different but not in a way that made them clash. Interesting to say the least. “Lady? No, no…” Saphir stopped walking and waved his hands at Rubeus as if to defend himself from the look on his face. “She is not staying with me! I…” He sighed, giving up trying to say anything until Rubeus was done.
Have I lost my mind? I am not the one walking around Tokyo when I am supposedly dead. Of course I could be seeing things…. “No, listen to me. The Rabbit… She is here as well as her alter ego, Wicked Lady. Not staying with me, but she just ended up being here. Neither of us could figure out why or how this happened. I sent her to Endymion for answers. There seem to be some flaws in the timeline…” His voice trailed off as his mind began to work. Why? Will Endymion even be able to help? Saphir noticed that Rubeus was staring at him.
Saphir dared not find Endymion again after what happened at their last meeting. He began to walk again, “I can show you to the apartment now if you would like. Quite spacious, of course I have made a few adjustments to the space.” Should I direct him to Endymion? Why would he want to see the King? He has not yet questioned why he is here. “As I said before, I believe you should see Endymion. You should not be alive right now. Do you realize that?”
Please please please! I could use sisters and a hawk or tiger or fishy to tease D:
So…. about my Amazoness/Amazon Quartet/Trio. Someone should get on that. Tell your friends that I need friends.
Pallas and Nehelenia beg you guys. And I’m sure our Dark Moon Family members would love some more as well. Lots of places wanted, needed, open… We’d love to have you =D
Indeed! I would love to have more people join us over here!
Can I just say that I’m so happy about all the Black Moon Clan activities.
But if you touch my Prince I’ll take your hand.
Clearly you do not remember the part where I told him we were trying to live peacefully away from Nemesis and then he attacked me in a dark alleyway.
and my soul cried from the lack of love. not my fault my brother is gross.
Red and Blue
The next moment, Rubeus had him in a crushing embrace.
“It’s really you! I can’t believe it!”
Then he let go of Safir long enough to give him a critical look.
“Same old babbling Safir as ever, and same lack of dressing sense, it really is you. Oh, I’m so glad to see you! Where is everyone? Are they here, too? Is the Prince here? Is everyone from Nemesis here? Have you got news from them? Man, I can’t wait to hear what you did to get us all stay here. Did you bash the Royal Family’s heads in, or did you fog their brains with your boring speeches? Please tell me you’ve come with a spaceship, I need to get back up in the air, life sucks balls from the ground.”
Saphir stiffened as Rubeus embraced him. So many questions. I guess he is alone then if he doesn’t know about anybody else. But how is he here? Best direct him the same way I did Wicked Lady. Saphir chuckled at the man. “You call me babbling? The prince is not here. I haven’t heard from him or anyone from Nemesis lately. I’ve been here alone.” He paused. Rubeus sounds fairly desperate. “Walk with me, Rubeus.” Without waiting for the man, Saphir began to walk down the street.
“I do not have a spaceship, Rubeus. Do you remember… losing your spaceship?” He didn’t want to ask if Rubeus remembered dying. What if this whole line of questioning is going to disrupt the timeline further? I need to send him to someone who will know more. Saphir had researched each of the senshi carefully before Nemesis had attacked Crystal Tokyo for defense purposes. One of them dealt with time, didn’t they? The Neo-Queen would know more. “If you need a place to stay I have space for you in my apartment. Wicked Lady is here as well. I have sent her to find her father, King Endymion. Surely, you remember him? I think it best you find him as well.” Hopefully he will have more answers than I can offer. Or at least Endymion has more connections on this planet than I do.
Red and blue
Everything was familiar, every street, every way he turned. Every sound, every word, every house.
And still, everything was off, it felt right, but it wasn’t right. Something here was very, very wrong.
How could such a short time have changed Tokyo that much?
Well, one thing hadn’t changed. The city was still too loud, too crowded, too ugly, and too big. It was so much worse to realize this from the damn ground.
He was alone, he was without spaceship, he was hungry, tired, and felt sick.
He couldn’t say what had caught his eye on that guy. The back of his head, the posture, or some feeling he couldn’t define. Something about this guy was even more off than the whole place.
He ran after him, grabbed him by the arm and turned him round.
“Oi! Who are…”
But he couldn’t finish the sentence when he saw who it was he had found.
He stared at him in shock.
“What are you doing here?”
It was another day for Saphir. Walking the streets of Tokyo, looking for answers. He had been visiting numerous libraries and researching the planet. How little I had known about it. He was growing used to the hustle and bustle of the planet, but at times he missed his companions. Still, Saphir preferred this planet to his own home on Nemesis. Dark, dreadful place. No colour, no life. Nothingness is all that planet embodies. Something grabbing at his arm literally pulled him out of his brooding thoughts.
Shock and confusion ran through him as he realized he knew the man trying to get his attention. Rubeus? How… More disruption in the timeline? He knew full well that Rubeus had died on his spaceship, but there was no mistaking the man in front of him. He continued frowning and spoke to him, “Rubeus. I’m researching the planet, living here now. I could ask the same of you, or rather… how are you here? Are you here alone?” He looked around his red-haired associate. Does anyone else know? Endymion had not been pleased to see me. Saphir’s thoughts began to wander to Wicked Lady. Had Rubeus seen anyone else? He seemed alone enough, but who knew what kind of things he could be up to.
